When the law enforcement officer calls for a member of the Hardin Crime Victims’ Assistance Center to come to help a victim, we normally meet the client at the sheriff’s office or a local police station. We help victim to fill out an intake and to do a CVC and if needed a MOEP.
Court Accompaniment
Being with Victim through the court process, whether this is sitting outside the courtroom in the D.A.’s or C.A.’s office with Client, witnesses and family, or being in the courtroom on behalf of client. Getting client a drink, something to eat, helping take their mind off what is going on in the courtroom. Never leaving client to face things alone.
